Breathing Ways

Breathing is an automatic reflex essential for life, but during the exercise we can (and should) make it a conscious act to improve our performance.
Not all types of breathing are the same nor do they respond to the needs of the agencies or to the objectives which we must fulfill. Let us see what are the types of breathing that exist and how we can apply them to the exercise.
The breath is formed, among others, by the processes of inspiration (air inlet or ventilation) and expiration (breathing out).  Depending on each individual, their physical state, the environment and the effort that go to make the process of ventilation and air outlet can be: Nasal
: both the inspiration and expiration are carried out through the nose. We serves for moments of relaxation or stress very soft. This type of ventilation also helps us in those moments in which the effort required is long and energy-saving is required.
Oronasal: inspiration is performed by the nose, while the expiration is done through the mouth. This type of ventilation is performed to increase the intensity of the exercise: increases the frequency of respiratory processes while maintaining the quality of the gaseous exchanges.
Oral: inspiration and expiration are carried out through the mouth. This type of ventilation is reserved for times of maximum effort, when we want to generate a greater amount of energy. The frequency of inspiration and expiration is much greater than in other modalities.
A person with a good physical condition you can maintain for a longer period of time the nasal ventilation compared to the same level of effort that another person not trained.
This is important in the aerobic exercise, of course, but it is also very useful control breathing when we exercise with weight: releasing the air in the phase of maximum effort of the repetition will help us to better control of the movement and to keep us more stable.
Our way of breathing can help us generate more or less energy at a given moment in our training: check these processes will help us to maximize our results.

Fruit and Its Effects

Eating fruit is necessary and healthy for the body. We are tired of hearing that we must get to the five daily rations, but many do not reach to a because the fruit has made him very bad press and it has been said that fattening much and that it is best avoided. We in this post we want to emphasize that the fruit does not make you fat and that we do not have in mind false myths about it.
We must not forget that the fruit is a food rich in vitamins and minerals necessary for the proper functioning of the body. It is true that it is popularly known as the natural treat, because it contains fructose, a kind of natural sugar that is precisely what the da as much bad reputation and therefore that a lot of people had been banished from your diet.
Before anything is important that we realize that fructose is a type of sugar totally natural much better assimilated by the body that the refining. It is a slow-release which means that use it will be better, maintaining energy levels and glucose optimum and constant. This avoids that let us run the risk of accumulating this glucose in the form of fat and thus achieve habbit.
On this basis, we must not forget that the fruit contains small amounts of calories, so it is a food that we ingest on a daily basis, but in spite of everything there are moments when it is their consumption better. The fruit is recommended quencher single between hours or in the hour of breakfast.
Effects of the frusctosa in digestion
these moments will be the best because it is precisely this fructose, is that it is what it does is hinder digestion and slow down the protein synthesis and carbohydrate. This is not to say that the fruit contains more calories, but you can simply stop by be indigestar, give gases and make us feel heavier while we are carrying out the digestive process.
For this reason perhaps is that it is considered that the fruit is also a food with a high caloric intake, and is that nothing could be further from the truth. It is the smart choice when we want to satiate the appetite of the healthiest way. It is always good to be the option chosen by the morning or afternoon, never without abusing too, because in excess the effect will not be as beneficial.

Glute Exercises

Now that summer is coming to lift the hand who do not be concerned about his physical look and don't want to type on the beach.
No one is spared, show a good aspect is something that equally concerned by both men and women, and usually, both sexes agree that one of the parties that they would like to improve and strengthen are the buttocks.
The buttocks is an area that offers multiple variants at the time of exercise, in addition to the exercises that we can do to tone and tighten the area can be made anywhere, although that yes, you will be constant in order to see results.
The first thing that you must take into account, that to see the results not suffice with follow to raja table the exercises that we are going to talk, you must also take care of the power, check the fat, and the habits of life, because nothing is enhance the buttocks if then we are going to spend 10 hours sitting in a chair.

If you opt for going to the gym there are multiple options, although the easiest and most effective is the step. To not be an exercise in too much intensity does not win the gluteus maximus muscle mass, but that is tones. This exercise also can be accomplished without the need of going to the gym, just climbing stairs at a steady pace will tone up your buttocks, although the motivation and intensity in a class of step is always greater.

If you prefer squats exercise in your home, the squats can also be a good option for strengthening the girls' bottoms. Only we must support our backs against the wall, well stick to it, and go sliding to measure which we will be flexing the knees as

ideal is the principle to reach flex while maintaining an angle of 45or between the thighs and the wall and hold in that position for 30 seconds to climb back to the starting position. Once we have already picked up more practice , after a few days, we can reach to move down until the thighs and knees forming between if 90or and endure in that position 1 minute, repeating the movement 5 times resting 30 seconds.

Negative Effects of GM Foods

Not too long ago there was a battle in California so that Proposition 37 would get passed. What would the proposition have done? Prop. 37 was part of a fight for GMO labeling is far from over. The fight was not able to be won, as CA Prop 37 was defeated.

Now, what is behind all of this Modified Genetic foods? Well, what is behind GMO foods can be quite scary as these foods can be allergenic, toxic, carcinogenic, and anti-nutritional.

In fact, there are studies that have shown that genetically modified peas can cause lung damage in mice, genetically modified potatoes can cause cancer in rats, and that bacteria in your gut can take up DNA from genetically modified foods.

Evidence is quickly accumulating that eating genetically modified foods may cause disease, may cause infertility or may hurt newborns. Furthermore, GM corn can contain a toxic pesticide in every cell.

Furthermore, Genetically modified foods can cause allergies. In fact, in the UK, shortly after GM soy was introduced, the cases of soy allergies increased by 50%.

Another problem with GMOs is that they can have higher residues of poisonous herbicide. GMO foods are designed to take in more poison.

Gut Flora and You

Who would have thought that you have living organisms living inside of you? And most surprising is that these organisms are not just a few of them, but rather, trillions of little organisms. In terms of types, more than 10,000 different types! Now, these microorganisms are not here to take over your body and do harm. Even though some of them can do a harm, most of these bugs can actually be good for you. These organisms help you digest food, protect you from infections, and keep your immune system properly regulated.

Studies have found that the more diversity of organisms that you have, the more healthy you are. Indeed, it seems that the less biodiversity of microorganisms has a lot to do with the current epidemics that are affecting more and more people. For example, some of these ailments include asthma, allergies, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes type 1. Studies have now shown that people will a less diverse array of bacteria have more risk of allergies.

So, how can you optimize and protect your gut flora? Before, as people ate more raw food, they were exposed a greater diversity of flora. In addition, people before use to spend more time outdoors where they were also exposed to more beneficial flora. Finally, individuals in the past did not have as much exposure to soaps, hand sanitizers and antibiotics as they are today.

So, one of the best ways to optimize your gut flora is to eat raw food that is grown in organic soil. In addition, eating fermented foods and probiotics will help to maintain your gut flora. Now, there are also foods that must be avoided like the plague if what you want is to improve your gut flora. These foods include anything that is high on sugar and high in high fructose corn syrup.

Since microorganisms are so crucial to your health, some researches have even started to compared these organisms as a new organ. It's important then to take care, maintain, and grow your gut flora and stay healthy.

Vaccines and the Flu

During the winter it is very common for individuals to get sick with the flu. It is during this time that people also get the flue shot in order to protect themselves and be ready for the season. For instance, during the 2012 Winter, there was a reported new type of stomach flu in addition to an unusually aggressive flu virus. In addition, there was also information that mentioned that during the 2012 winder, the worst whopping cough outbreak in the last 60 years happened.

One of the best solutions to this problem, many think, is to get vaccinated against the flu. Yet, this is not always the most effective solution. According to Dr. Tom Jefferson, seasonal flu vaccines "do not have a good track record.. The evidence from hundreds of studies... is that sometimes they work a little and sometimes they don't."

Furthermore, an independent study from the Cochrane Collaboration found out that "at best vaccines might be effective against only influenza A and B, which represent about 10 percent of all circulating viruses. "

So, what are the best ways to protect yourself during the flu season. Here are some things you can do :

1) The first thing to do to protect yourself against the flu is to optimize your vitamin D levels. Vitamin D not only helps with flu infections but with all types of infections.

2) The second thing to do is to avoid sugar and processed foods. The reason for this is that your immune response is decreased almost immediately after consuming sugar.

3) Another factor to take care of yourself and avoid the flu and other infections is to get plenty of rest, as this will help your body get strength so that it fatigue will not take a toll on your health.

4) Another powerful strategy to improve your health and response to flu is your gut flora. Foods that will help you optimize your gut flora are coconut oil, avocados, olives, olive oil, butter, eggs, and nuts. You should however do your best to avoid sugar consumption.

About Flouride

Today, fluoride is found in water, toothpaste, and many other places. The public has adopted the practice of adding water to communities' water supplies. Yet, evidence shows that fluoride has many negative consequences.

For instance, research studies have show that fluoride toxicity can lead to a wide range of problems, including lead absorption, genetic damage, cell death, arthritis, muscle disorders, bone cancer, impaired thyroid function, hyperactivity, lethargy, increased tumor and cancer growth, dimentia, brain damage, and lowered IQ.

But what about dental caries? Doesn't fluoride helps to protect against dental caries. The reason behind dental caries is demineraliztion of the teeth by the acids formed during bacterial fermentation of dietary sugar. The reasons for tooth decay are the use of refined sugar, poor dental hygiene, mineral deficiencies, including a deficiency in magnesium.

Out of these reasons for tooth decay, it is the excess consumption of sugar that is the leading cause of tooth decay. Thus, in nations such as the United States, where there is massive consumption of sugars, tooth decay problems are exacerbated,

However, despite the ADA, the American Dental Association, warning of increased rates of tooth decay if water flouridation would be stopped, the evidence is simply not there. The studies, however, show a different stories. For one, in Japan, flouridation has not existed widely since 1970s, and yet the rates of dental caries have declined.

There is also similar stories in the town of Tiel in the Netherlands and in the town of Kuopio in Finland.

Thus, one has to make their own decision regarding water and fluoride, as the main benefit of fluoride seems to be nonexistent and yet there are more negative side effects.
